Analysis and Consulting
Screenwriting is a highly competitive field and the industry requires scripts to be tight, compelling and ‘bulletproof’. One should especially refine a work if it is to be an independent or calling card.
I have worked with many beginning and established clients to help them discover and forge their stories, offering comprehensive, objective feedback to strengthen screenplays, teleplays, outlines and treatments. I will work in tandem with you from idea stage to final, submitted project.
My thorough analysis and consultation evaluates aspects from theme, conflict, tone, characters, dialogue, structure, pacing, production values, career strategy, marketability and formatting..
I utilize custom structural models, as well as reference the insights of Joseph Campbell, Christopher Vogler, Caroline Myss, Syd Field, Viki King, Scott Myers and other luminaries in the field.

Bio
Producer, writer and director Jerry Rapp has been making movies since attending the USC School of Cinematic Arts, with an emphasis in screenwriting.
Rapp’s first screenplay was acquired by Imagine Entertainment and has led to additional projects with Paramount, Universal, MGM, HBO and others. He has produced television projects with HBO, Showtime, New Line TV, USA Network and PBS.
Rapp has directed and produced a number of award-winning short and feature films which have played in notable festivals, including the R&H Educational Film Series for Hypnotic/Universal.
Rapp's independent work includes the feature films The Thing At Pete And Julie’s, Sand Trap, Moving Alan, Mojave Phone Booth. Gutshot Straight and Looking Glass. He is currently in development on the films Bonnie, The Residents, The Monrovians, Clarky and the episodic series, LINK.
Rapp is the founder of Pangea Media Partners and recently launched the short film company Be Kind Films, celebrating acts of positivity. He is a longtime member of the Writers Guild of America.
